Maco Technology reserves the right to make changes to this web site and these terms and conditions at any time without any prior notice.

Maco Technology is the service provider; it is also referred to as "Maco", "Maco Technology", "us" and "we".

Customer is the individual or organisation who is using the website and its services; it is also referred to 'you', 'customers'

Maco Technology warranty term is based on the manufacturers' warranty terms and conditions. Maco Technology will process all warranty claims with manufacturer on behalf of customers.

Products returned for warranty claim will be repaired or replaced by the manufacturers. No financial refunds will be provided under any circumstances.

Products in warranty which has been discontinued by manufacturer shall be upgraded to similar product or a credit will be given at the current market value or purchase price whichever is lower, less our restocking fee.

Maco Technology has a 7 days DOA (Dead on Arrival) period, whereby if a product is found to be DOA, we will provide instant replacement, this will be subjected to our testing before approval. DOA items must be reported within 7 days from the time you receive your goods. Failure to report a DOA item within 7 days will result in you not being able to claim the item as a DOA.

Maco Technology offers one year return-to-base warranty for new computer and parts only (excluding special order or service), it is applies from the date of purchase on your tax invoice. Unless extended warranty is offered by the manufacturer an example would be monitors have a 3-years onsite warranty. The warranty is not transferable. Please feel free to contact us if you have any queries on this matter.

Maco Technology does not cover damage to products caused by customers or the loss of customers' data or that occurs to any products whilst in transit. All freight charges are the responsibility of the customer unless state otherwise. Maco Technology will accept no responsibility whatsoever for products lost or damaged in transit.

Maco Technology DO NOT accept returns for refunds, credit or exchanges based on incorrect, incompatible or unsuitable goods, please select your goods carefully before placing your order or ask for our advice in writing before purchasing.

Maco Technology does not accept warranty claim of any products without proof of purchase. Products that to be return to Maco Technology for warranty must have invoice number and Return Authority (RA) number which will be given once you have fill in the Return Authority (RA) form. All products must be returned in their original packaging with all software and manuals included.

Maco Technology does not send replacements in advance of receiving the return faulty goods. Parts returned will be returned to the manufacturer for their determination of repair or replacement under warranty.

Maco Technology will charge a minimum of $30 including GST for diagnostic and returning of non-faulty goods, as we are an online store only we can pick up the items up from the customers sites and return it when we had solved the problem, this will incur a courier service fee

Maco Technology warranty does not applied to the compatibility of any software installed to your computer system as the software problem is very complicated and out of our control.

Maco Technology does not pay for couriers or shipping of the return warranty products from the customer but instead Maco Technology will pay for shipping the product back to the customer once it has been replaced or repaired by our supplier. All products returned for warranty repair are to be packed in a suitable container with the Return Authority (RA) number on the container.

If the returned items are determined by Maco Technology to not be faulty, then all returning freight cost will be incur by the customer.

Maco Technology also reserves the right to charge the labour cost for examining these goods where no fault was found.

Maco Technology will not honor the warrantees if returned product is found in any way to be mishandled, misinstalled, modified, tampered, abused, physically damaged or used under wrong voltage etc.

Maco Technology is not responsible for any parcel missing in transit, Customer is responsible for any shipping and insurance cost involved in sending the warranty claim goods back to Maco Technology.

Return Warranty Procedures

In order for a fast and efficient service Maco Technology provides a tracking system for the return of faulty parts and systems. Customers required reading our Terms and Conditions policy and filling all the information that acquired on our Return Authorization form, and then a RA number is received. Customers need to package well the faulty item, attach the number with the package, and post back to our mailing address as soon as possible.

Returns, Refund and Replacement

You must contact Maco Technology first prior to returning any products for refunds or warranty.

Maco Technology DO NOT accepts return for refunds for goods returned which has been opened/used/damage/modified, as we will not be able to return the product to our supplier. Strictly no refund or exchange for opened package or poor selection.

Maco Technology cannot immediate replaced a faulty product this is because when we send it back to the distributors for non-DOA product we are returned a replacement that has a reduced warranty period (starting from the original tax invoice date that we given to our customer). Please understand the products returned to us from the distributors are not in a retail packaging therefore it cannot be resold and must be returned back to our customer.

There will be no credit or refund given on the price difference of the ordered items due to price drops once the product has been confirmed/processed and shipped out. Prices of computer parts are volatile and we do not control the price fluctuations. If goods received are not as ordered, please inform Maco Technology within 24 hours of receiving the delivery, do not open any packaging or use as it will be deemed to be acceptance of goods and will not be accepted for returns.

Cancellation of order will result in a minimum of 20% restocking fee for the loss of our time and depreciation of goods. Cancellation must be informed as soon as possible, any cancellation after a product has been packed or shipped out will result in the customer paying for all freight and handling charges.

Maco Technology owns the title of any extra goods shipped with your order that have been despatched in error.

Third Party Onsite Warranty Provider. The Warranty contract is directly between the customer and third party warranty provider. All responsibility is beared by third party warranty provider once the contract comes into effect.


We do not ship to third party addresses unless that address is known and can be verified by Maco Technology.

Customers are responsible for paying any freight charges incurred by refused shipment and unclaimed goods. Maco Technology will make every effort to deliver on time. However, we shall not be held liable for delay or lost shipment. Customers are responsible to have someone at the delivery address to sign for and accept the delivery. Cost for re-delivery attempts will be passed to the customers if the delivery address is unattended at the time of delivery.


Due to changing market forces and other extenuating circumstances that affect product availability, and price stability we reserve the right to withdraw any product we advertise and change prices without notice.
